Summit Coffee
128 S Main St.
Davidson, NC

A long time main street staple, Summit has been serving coffee to under-caffeinated Wildcats since 1998. Run by two Davidson alums, Summit’s comfy workspaces and casual atmosphere have made it a popular spot for everything from early morning study sessions to afternoon meetings with professors. Summit's mission: to provide good beans, good people and a good environment.

Toast Cafe
101 N Main St.
Davidson, NC

Davidson’s classic brunch location, Toast is located right across the street from the heart of campus. Well known for its awesome breakfast variety and exceptionally welcoming staff, Toast serves breakfast, lunch and brunch. Omelets, breakfast sandwiches, French toast stuffed with raspberries or peanut butter and banana, salads, melts, burgers, mac and cheese and corned beef hash are just a sampling. Savvy eaters know to go when it’s nice out so you can take advantage of their outdoor seating and the beautiful Carolina weather.

Sabi Asian Bistro
130 Harbour Place Dr.
Suite 130
Davidson, NC

Since 2009, members of the Davidson community and the surrounding Lake Norman area have enjoyed the warm yet trendy, family-oriented atmosphere of Sabi Asian Bistro located just off the Exit 30 entrance to Davidson via I-77. Half-off Sushi (on select sushi orders under $10) every day between 3-5pm make Sabi an ideal location for late-afternoon sushi-cravings and other Asian cuisine. Try the Mount Fuji Roll -- tuna avocado inside, white tuna on top -- or the Lo-Carb -- tuna, crab avocado and massago wrapped in a cucumber blanket, no rice.  Or for dinner there's Bang-Bang Shrimp, Sesame Chicken, Broccolli Beef, Lo Mein, or the Dragon & Phoenix -- red curry shrimp with General Tso's Chicken.

Brickhouse Tavern
209 Delburg St.
Davidson, NC

A Davidson student, faculty, and staff favorite for over 9 years located just across the tracks from the Admission Office, Brickhouse Tavern is designed with its constituents in mind: a cozy restaurant side coupled with an open community-style tavern or outdoor seating. Local favorites on the menu include scrumptious pizzas baked in a stone oven, buffalo wings, spinach & artichoke dip with pita chips, thick quesadillas, risotto and pastas, a large selection of entrée salads and a vast assortment of adult beverages.

Restaurant X
408 South Main St.
Davidson, NC

A favorite for when parents are in town, Restuarant X is an inviting bistro located in Davidson’s art district. The owners are an everyday fixture at this local spot where everything is made in-house and their soups have been named Davidson’s best several years running. For lunch, there's a Carolina BBQ pork sandwich, crab cakes or haricot vert shrimp tomato salad. Dinner entrees include shrimp and grits, seared Ahi tuna over soba noodles, and pecan crusted chicken breast. Pro-tip: come for lunch on Friday and enjoy their Fish and Chips.
